Which Car Cover Should You Choose for Your Porsche?

Looking for a cover for a Porsche 911, Boxster, Cayman, 718, Macan, Cayenne, Taycan or Panamera? This guide helps you choose an indoor cover, outdoor cover or presentation cloth according to the vehicle generation, year, dimensions and intended use.

Please note: My Roadster® covers are offered by size range and are not custom-made. The generation is a useful starting point, but always measure your Porsche and consider its shape, especially if it has a fixed rear wing, aerodynamic package or SUV body.

Which type of protection should you choose?

Inside a garage

A Stretch cover follows the vehicle’s lines and helps protect it from dust and light contact during indoor storage.

Outdoors

The multilayer outdoor cover is designed for cars parked outside. Choose its size from the actual vehicle length and secure the straps correctly.

A presentation cloth covers the vehicle with a flowing drape rather than a close body fit. It is suited to deliveries, events and presentations.

A simple solution for a Porsche used regularly

Do you use your Porsche regularly and want to cover it quickly in a private garage or parking bay? A protective drape is a simple alternative to a fitted cover.

Its generous cut makes it quick to place and remove. It helps protect the car from dust during indoor parking while remaining convenient for everyday use.

Size M is suitable for most Porsche 911 models. We recommend size L for a car with a prominent rear wing or when greater side coverage is preferred.

The drape is intended for indoor use. It does not replace a Stretch cover when a close body fit is required.

Why measure your Porsche before ordering?

Two Porsche vehicles carrying the same commercial name can have different dimensions or body shapes. Measure the overall length and tell us about any fixed rear wing, aerodynamic kit, aerial or special equipment. For a 911 Cabriolet or Boxster, measure with the roof closed.

Frequently asked questions

Which size should I choose for a Porsche 911?

It mainly depends on the generation. The 964, 993, 996 and many 997 models generally fit within the M-L 4.0–4.5 m range. A 991 should be measured, while a 992 generally exceeds 4.5 m and should be considered for L-XL.

Does one cover fit every Porsche 911?

No. Dimensions have changed, and some GT, Turbo or Dakar versions have distinctive bodywork. Always check the generation, length and rear wing.

Which cover should I choose for a Boxster, Cayman or 718?

Most measure approximately 4.3 to 4.46 m and initially point to Stretch M-L or outdoor size M. Spyder, GT4 and GT4 RS models need a more precise check.

Are these covers custom-made for Porsche?

No. They are offered by size range. Stretch fabric helps the cover follow the vehicle’s lines, but it is not a custom-made product.

Can I cover a Porsche immediately after driving?

Wait until the vehicle, exhaust and brakes have cooled. The body must be clean and dry before fitting the cover.

How can I get help before ordering?

Contact us with the model, year, length and a photo of the vehicle. We can guide you without promising unverified compatibility.
